BRISBANE QUARTER
An $800M re-purposing of 300 George Street: 3 ultra-modern mixed-use glass towers atop a 3-storey podium – designed to dazzle and dominate the Brisbane city skyline.
First to be constructed was the 5-star, 32-storey hotel; pivotal, as it connects the podium to the two larger towers (a commercial tower and whopping 82-level residential tower). With its reflective curvilinear façade, it includes 305 rooms, a lobby bar, resort shop, presidential and executive suites, with the whole top floor devoted
to a pool deck with spa, large pool, family pool, bar and health spa.
The 3-storey podium features a retail shopping mall, restaurants, bars, cafes, business centre and a master ballroom. The top level of the podium boasts an impressive multi-featured recreational zone with sculptural artworks, water feature, amphitheatre, jacaranda gardens and viewing platform. An ample seven-level basement car park has also been incorporated into this massive redevelopment.
